i have the most amazing friends ever. this new year has started out super since i have had the chance to spend uber amounts of time hanging out with my friends every weekend and also during the weekdays during lunchtime and whatnot. i just want to share all the amazing times and write it all down so that i can look back and remember. it will probably be too boring to read, but thank you to all for every moment. you guys make this the best time of my life! <3s to you!

Jan. 3-6: bay st. louis, mississippi.
Jan. 11- Friday: i got a chance to make a trip up to western washington university with my lovely coworker, mary, who is probably going to be attending there in the spring. andrew was nice enough to pay for parking and give us a tour of the campus where i happened to run into symons! western is super nice and it would have been fun to go there too, but i <3 uw too much. afterwards we went grocery shopping with adrian to get dinner ingredients. at adrian’s apartment we made the most delicious, yummy in my tummy tacos ever. i got to meet his cool roommates and also see rhea and her new bf. so much fun! id def like to go again so let me know if youre interested!
Jan. 12- Saturday: grego joined me during my lunch hour at work to watch the seahawks game against the packers. after work i hung out with him, and we decided to go bowling where i kicked his bootie.
Jan. 13- Sunday: i went to brunch at a dim sum place called tea garden in the international district with jen, diane, and bruce. then we made a stop at uwajimaya and the bookstore there.

Jan. 18- Friday: after work I went and watched cloverfield with greg, which was good/decent until the ending which sucked. afterwards, i went bowling with diane, taryn, bruce, and jen where i got like 3 strikes *woohoo*. then we went to applebees and ate half-priced appetizers.

Jan. 19- Saturday: after work i went to a hooker’s night (crocheting and knitting party) at diane’s place where taryn, symons, and diane’s other friend were already gathered. chatham and jen came by later. we all had a ton of fun just hanging out.

Jan. 20- Sunday: i went to eat at a place called ocean city (one of jen’s fave restaurants) in the international district with the previous sunday crew. we ended up going to uwajimaya again where we bought tons of snacks and candy and explored the bookstore. that night me and jen drove to the girls’ apartment where everyone gathered and had a potluck. we cooked spaghetti, watched superbad, and had fun. i saw pris, meesh, jen, rachel, whit, em, grace, christina, and all the boys.

Jan. 21- Monday: martin luther king jr. day. i hung out at adrians house for a couple of hours early in the afternoon. i got a chance to see old high school acquaintance kyohei and his gf. i saw adrians mad skills at guitar hero and watched some anime.

Jan. 25- Friday: i think i actually stayed home for once to study for my monday midterm.
Jan. 26- Saturday: stayed home again to study.
Jan. 27- Sunday: 3^rd sunday brunch trip with the crew which included Taryn this time. we first ate at a place called hawaiian barbecue (which is another one of jen’s fave places). they had an amazing selection, great prices, and delicious food. jen picked a winner! afterwards we visited chatham at his post on the bridge. then we went to uwajimaya again of course. and we decided to make it a tradition each week for each person to pick his/her fave restaurant and then to probably make a trip to uwajimaya. i got to work like 2 hours late (oops! my bad caro).

Feb. 1- Friday: i invited all the girls to my house to have a grilling party. we had a ton of different kinds of meats like pork, bulgogi, sahm gyup sahl, beef, etc. we cooked everything on our huge hotplate. afterwards was dessert! we had 2 BIG tubs of ice cream, 4 smaller tubs, apple pie, cookies, and little bite size apple desserts. it was a ridiculous amount of dessert–a true girls night. we also did karaoke on the playstation that jen brought, which she had like 4 different karaoke games for.

Feb. 2- Saturday: i got all dazzled up and went to MJ’s wedding reception with caro and kristen straight after work. it was beautiful of course. i got to chat it up with other coworkers hanna, mary, and david.
Feb. 3- Sunday: the regular sunday crew went to a place called padi indonesian cafe on the ave since the place we originally wanted to go to was closed. afterwards we made a quick stop at pochiis next door and finally went to (guess where) uwajimaya! we ate crepes at a place nearby. i went straight to work (on time finally) and then straight after that i went to diane’s mom’s place to watch the last half of the superbowl. bruce and jen were also there. the last quarter was nuts and the giants won in a crazy upset against the giants.

*whew… wiping sweat from brow* haha that took like two hours man o man. im sure most people wont bother reading all that but o well. again, thanks to all my friends. you guys rock. lets keep it up! and continue having even more fun!
